Good Evening {Contact_First_Name},
We are seeing so much truth drop at a massive rate. Many are now seeing truths that have been hidden for so long. NOW, more than ever we must reach out to our neighbors and get to know each other again. Extend the friendly invite and restore this republic. THIS is what we strive for at Community Resilience. To unlock the full benefits of having your neighborhood connected to others, membership is required. This is the first step to building a stronger more resilient community to be able to support each other when we need it most. We are happy to be here in this time with you as we build a better tomorrow for the next generation.

March Garden Care in Northern Georgia: Regenerative Stewardship for Spring Growth
As March brings warmer days and the promise of new growth to Northern Georgia, gardeners are presented with a pivotal time to care for their ecosystems. Spring is on the horizon, and with it comes the opportunity to continue our regenerative journey of stewardship—a practice that focuses on nurturing the land, rather than merely sustaining it. We believe that, as stewards, we have the power to regenerate resources, revitalize ecosystems, and create new possibilities where others may see scarcity.
Let’s explore how we can approach our garden care this March, drawing from both traditional wisdom and regenerative practices to ensure a flourishing, resilient garden throughout the season. Part 1 of 2:
1. Soil Care: The Foundation of Regeneration
In March, soil care remains a priority. We continue to build on the health and vitality of the land to foster conditions where ecosystems can regenerate and thrive.
-
Compost and Organic Amendments: Keep adding organic matter to your garden. Composting remains an essential practice, with kitchen scraps, yard waste, and leftover plant material contributing to nutrient-rich soil. This month, consider incorporating other organic amendments like mulch, aged manure, or organic fertilizers to further enrich the soil as you prepare for the growing season ahead. By regenerating the soil, we are ensuring that it not only sustains our plants but also creates a thriving foundation for future crops.
-
Cover Crops and Green Manures: If you planted cover crops in the winter, such as clover or rye, now is the time to assess their growth and decide when to incorporate them into the soil. These crops not only provide valuable organic matter but also fix nitrogen and reduce soil erosion, enriching the land for the next season of planting. By integrating green manures into your soil, you are actively regenerating the ecosystem and ensuring that your garden is better equipped to handle future challenges.
2. Spring Planting: Thoughtful Expansion of the Garden
With the arrival of spring, the time for planting approaches. This season, let us consider how to not only grow our food but also regenerate the ecosystem around us by creating biodiversity and fostering healthy plant relationships.
-
Starting Seeds Indoors: Continue sowing seeds indoors for your spring garden, particularly for crops like tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants that require a longer growing season. Starting seeds now gives them a head start and allows you to optimize your space and resources. Remember to focus on varieties that are well-adapted to Northern Georgia’s climate, prioritizing plants that will thrive with minimal intervention.
-
Polyculture and Companion Planting: This is a great time to plan for a garden filled with diversity. Rather than planting monocultures, think about how different plants can support one another. Companion planting strategies can improve soil health, deter pests, and enhance pollination. For instance, planting beans alongside corn improves soil fertility, while planting basil with tomatoes boosts flavor and repels insects. These synergistic relationships encourage an interconnected ecosystem that regenerates resources.
3. Pruning and Maintenance: Guiding Growth for Future Seasons
Pruning continues to be an important practice in March, helping to shape the future of your garden while encouraging healthy growth.
-
Fruit Trees and Shrubs: Finish pruning fruit trees, vines, and shrubs, removing any dead or damaged wood and encouraging new growth. This helps prevent disease and ensures your plants are well-prepared for the warmer months. With fruit trees, be sure to create open canopies that allow light to penetrate and air to circulate, which will reduce fungal infections and promote strong, healthy fruit production.
-
Perennials and Woody Plants: For perennials that need a trim, now is a good time to cut back any remaining dead foliage to allow for new growth. For woody plants, like lavender or rosemary, pruning encourages bushier growth, keeping plants vigorous and healthy.

Opposing Opinions . . . from the Gov't.
It is no wonder we are so messed up as a country, when the government writes opposing opinions in the same paper. I know this is from a while back but it shows us how long this has been going on.
This is a good example of why we need to stay on top of the workings of our government. Thank you DOGE for finding the waste. Maybe next, you can look at the infringements on Liberty.
If you click on the buttons below, it will take you to the respective articles. Both are part of the paper below from the:

Make America Godly Again
God is clearly moving in our government and across our land. And He is also moving in His church in America and around the world. This movement is actually bigger than Make America Great Again, but is God’s plan to Make America Godly Again. And this is part of yet a bigger plan to spread His kingdom of truth and salvation around the world. Be encouraged and take your mountain wherever He sends you.
I wrote down these words as I believe He spoke them to me about His plan for our overcoming victory.
This is the season to overcome evil. Evil works thought deception and opportunity, so eliminate deception and opportunity for evil in your life, your family, your relationships, your job and your land. You must first know Me and My will, for only I can overcome the world. Only I can bring righteousness, peace, and joy by My Spirit. Next you must know My truth. So be My disciple by knowing My words and by listening to Me and studying My words. Then you will know the truth that is your sword to overcome and set you free. It is time to overcome evil, free the captives, heal the sick, and establish righteousness and justice in you, around you, and throughout your land. He who has an ear let him hear, let Him pray, and let him prophesy, what I am saying to My church. To He overcomes I will give the keys of My kingdom and the authority and wisdom to use them.
Consider these verses from Isaiah and the Revelation
Isaiah 61:8,9
8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
I hate robbery for burnt offering;
I will direct their work in truth,
And will make with them an everlasting covenant.
9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles,
And their offspring among the people.
Revelation 3:21,22
21 The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. 22 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

FDA Bans Red Dye No. 3 from our Food
This is a huge win for the health of all! Red dye was removed from our cosmetics and topical medications about 35 years ago because risk of cancer. Presently, the red dye can be found in food, drinks, and medications. Companies have until 2027 to reformulate their food products and 2028 to remove the red dye from medications. If you want to read more about the history of red dye in our foods/mediations and understand the potential impacts to our health particularly our young children, please click on the link below.

Pureed, juiced, powdered, or water from beets is an excellent substitution for red dye for frosting, candy, and desserts

Resilience Tip of the Week
|
|
Develop a Strong Network
Caring, supportive people around you act as a protective factor during times of crisis. Community resilience is the ability to prepare for anticipated hazards, adapt to changing conditions, and withstand and recover rapidly from disruptions. Disaster preparedness—which includes prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery—is crucial to resilience. Find your network of people in your neighborhood, church, and other like-minded groups.
