Good Morning {Contact_First_Name},
In the last few weeks we have seen first hand in GA, NC, SC & FL, the importance of community. When disaster hits, when the government fails... community is what we need to not only survive but thrive in unforeseen circumstances.
Community Resilience is a membership organization that is just launching this new concept. If you would like to join or learn more about how to get involved join us at an event or reply to this email. In the future, we will have a way to enroll online.
We are so excited for where God is taking this next level of support in our community and are grateful for each and every one of you!!

October is also a great time to grow several fall and cold-weather crops. Here are some options you can consider:
1. Leafy Greens
- Spinach**: Fast-growing and hardy; it can be harvested multiple times.
- Kale**: Very cold-tolerant; flavors improve after a frost.
- Collard Greens**: Another hardy green that thrives in cooler weather.
2. Root Vegetables
- Carrots**: Can be planted in early October; they sweeten with frost.
- Beets**: Plant now for a late fall harvest; they store well.
- Radishes**: Fast-growing and can be ready to harvest in just a few weeks.
3. Brassicas
- Broccoli**: Plant transplants or seeds for a fall harvest.
- Cabbage**: Another cold-hardy option that can withstand frost.
- Brussels Sprouts**: They need a longer growing season, but October is still a good time for them.
4. Herbs
- Parsley**: Can grow well into winter; it’s quite resilient.
- Cilantro**: Thrives in cooler temperatures and can be harvested multiple times.
5. Peas
- Sugar Snap or Snow Peas**: These can be planted in late October for an early spring harvest.
6. Garlic
- Plant garlic cloves in October for a harvest next summer; it benefits from a cold period.
These crops can provide fresh produce throughout the cooler months and contribute to soil health and biodiversity in your garden.

The Importance of Community:
7 Benefits if Offers
To understand why neighborhood action and community is meaningful and beneficial to our well-being, we can look at seven ways in which belonging to one can help us.
1. Support and safety
One of the main reasons behind the importance of community is that it can help fight feelings of hopelessness and give us the certainty that we are safe when surrounded by our community. Furthermore, the benefits go both ways, since supporting others also gives us a boost.
2. Connection and belonging
Togetherness is so central to our experience as humans; that feeling we are part of something bigger can help give meaning to our lives. Finding others with the same values, interests, and world views makes us realize that we’re not alone and makes us feel valued.
3. Influence
Studies confirm that our overall health is partly determined by our ability to look after ourselves, but sometimes we simply don’t feel capable of it. Communities can influence us and motivate us to invest in our well-being and to bring positive changes to our lives.
4. Sharing
Sharing activities, ideas and feelings reinforces not only our sense of self, but also adds worth and value to the community. Indeed, the more the merrier applies in this case! Sharing is caring.
5. Learning
Communities are usually built around common interests, but that doesn’t mean they’re homogeneous. We can still find people within them who have different views, experiences, or beliefs, and learning from them can help us reach insights that we may not have reached on our own.
6. Acceptance
Developing community bonds with others who have different views may be challenging, but it’s also an opportunity to practice acceptance. Acceptance doesn’t necessarily imply agreement.
7. More connections, more chances of success
The importance of community goes beyond the personal sphere and extends to professional development. Since the pandemic begun we’ve seen a stronger focus on supporting local businesses, so this is a good place to start networking and building strong relationships. You never know where that could take your business idea or professional life. From happiness.com

Prepare your Shout
Things are happening very quickly now with great intensity as we build up to election day. But I believe it is all building up to our presidential election, which I believe is going to be a significant spiritual event. I believe the true Christian Church is arising to cross the Jordan to take the promised land of our nation’s forefathers and their covenant with God. We have seen how the church body is coming together in aid to the hurricane victims in the presence of very little federal government help. We have been marching around our governmental Jericho getting stronger each year and I believe the election in November is to be our Jericho shout. As I sought the Lord in prayer, I received this word to share with you.
Prepare your Shout
Make plain your declarations and prepare your shout for My body is coming together as they move together, surrounding the stronghold of Satan’s army. For the walls of evil men and their evil lies are beginning to crumble as My words of truth penetrate the very foundation of their deception. For they claim to be as Gods, but they are only mortal men, who will collapse in fear as their fate is sealed by their own testimony. For I will not be mocked and My people will not suffer long from their evil schemes. But first you must arise with the boldness of My Spirit and declare My word and My Verdict, as My Spirit gives you the words. For I am giving you the heart of a lion to roar My words with boldness and power. For many will awaken and tremble as you stand and declare My verdict. For My justice will come and My glory will be revealed.
Joshua 6:20
20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
I believe the walls of this tyrannical government are about to fall, and we must be prepared to take our roles in building a new government of We The People, as the people of God. Yes, there are many giants and “ites” to conquer, but I believe as Joshua and Caleb, that God is calling us to charge forward and take our mountain, and to see His Kingdom come and His will be done.
